About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About public associations" on ensuring activities of All-Ukrainian public associations

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About public associations" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2013, No. 1, the Art. 1) the following changes:

Part the second Article 13 to state 1) in the following edition:

"2. Separate divisions of public association are not legal entities, except the cases provided by this Law.

Separate divisions of public association are created and perform the activities on the basis of the charter of public association.

Separate divisions of public association with the status of the legal entity can have the provision if it is provided by the charter of public association. The regulations on separate division of public association contain information on the name of separate division, the name leading (and in case of need controlling) bodies, procedure for election (appointment), term of office, the list of the powers leading (and in case of need controlling) bodies. The regulations on separate division of public association cannot contradict the laws and the charter of public association";

2) in the Section V "Final and transitional provisions":

in Item 7 of the word and figure "during the term determined by Item 8 of this Section" to exclude;

Local cells of the All-Ukrainian (international) organizations which were effective with the status of the legal entity on the date of introduction of this Law in action according to the decision of the supreme body of management of All-Ukrainian (international) public organization reserve the status of the legal entity after introduction of this law in action.

Charters (provisions) of local cells of the All-Ukrainian (international) organizations which were effective with the status of the legal entity on the date of introduction of this Law in action shall be brought into accord with this Law within five years from the date of its introduction in action.
