About modification and amendments in the Judicial code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. In article 74 of the Judicial code of the Republic of Armenia of February 21, 2007 (further – the Code):
Part 1 to state 1) in the following edition:
"1. General meeting of judges creates the Commissions on ethics and disciplinary matters, concerning education, and also according to judges.",
To add 2) with parts 4.1-4.4 following of content:
"4.1. (Further – Valuation committee) 5 members, one – the scientific lawyer, one – the former judge who stopped to hold position based on execution of retirement age, one – from among judges of Trial Courts, one – from judges of Appeal Courts, one – from judges of Court of cassation enter into structure of the Commission on assessment of judges.
4.2. The alternate member of Valuation committee shall have at least five years of working years of service in judgeship and by the last results of estimation of activities – high or good mark.
4.3. Chairmen of the courts and members of council of justice cannot be part of Valuation committee.
4.4. The member of the commission of General meeting of judges cannot be part of other commission of General meeting of judges at the same time.
Part 5 to add 3) with the new offer of the following content: "The former judge or the scientific lawyer can be pushed as the member of Valuation committee by one member of General meeting of judges. By the scientific lawyer - the member of Valuation committee person who has working years of service at least three years within the last five years in the scientific and educational organizations can be pushed.".
4) in part 7:
a) words of the first offer "3rd and 4th" shall be replaced with words "3rd, 4-y and the 4.1st", after the word of "courts" to add" (in case of Valuation committee – also former judges and scientific lawyers)",
