I. Basic rules

1. The government employee in the activities shall be guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About public service", other laws and regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Tajikistan, international legal acts recognized by the Republic of Tajikistan, and also the universally recognized norms of morality and rules of business etiquette.

2. The government employee shall promote realization of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen recognized by the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan the supreme value.

3. State the employee is the carrier of the authority of state body owing to what shall aim at implementation of the conventional standards of faultless service and behavior, fairly and uncompromisingly to follow them in case of execution of the service duties and in off-duty time.

4. The government employee shall observe prestige of public service, avoid everything that could belittle authority of state body. He has no right to cause damage of reputation of the profession to please to private interests or interests of other persons.
