About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About National guard of Ukraine" concerning enhancement of the legal basis of activities of National guard of Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About National guard of Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2014, No. 17, Art. 594; 2015, No. 2-3, of the Art. 12 No. 35, Art. 339; with the changes made by the Law of Ukraine of November 10, 2015 No. 766-VIII) the following changes:

1. In Article 2:

1) in part one:

in Item 11 of the word "followed by violence over citizens" to exclude;

state Items 17 and 18 in the following edition:

"17) participation in accomplishment of tasks of territorial defense;

18) defense of important state objects, particular loads which lists are determined by the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, central bases of material logistics of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine";

add with Item 19 of the following content:

"19) participation in the termination of group illegal actions of the persons detained, condemned and also mitigations of consequences of such actions in organizations of pre-trial detention, execution of punishments";

Part the second to replace 2) with two new parts of the following content:

"2. The organization and procedure for execution of military service for protection of nuclear installations, nuclear materials, radioactive waste, other sources of ionizing radiation of state-owned property, important state objects and particular loads, and also the rights and obligations of the military personnel involved to execution of such service are determined by the relevant charter approved by the law.

The procedure for the organization of protection by National guard of Ukraine for nuclear installations, nuclear materials, radioactive waste, other sources of ionizing radiation of state-owned property, important state objects, and also particular loads is established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
