About cooperation in the field of tourism

The Ministry of economic development and trade of Ukraine and the State committee of Turkmenistan on Tourism (further - the Parties),

aiming at further development and strengthening of cooperation in the field of tourism between two states,

in view of important role of tourism in economic, social and cultural progress of both countries,

recognizing importance of development of cooperation in the field of tourism in strengthening of friendship between the people of both countries,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will promote development of cooperation in the field of tourism within national legal systems of the states of the Parties and international treaties which participants are the parties, for the purpose of acquaintance of citizens of both states with achievements in the field of economy, social development, cultural achievements, natural sights, historical monuments and national traditions of the people of both countries on the basis of equality and mutual advantage.

Article 2

The parties will promote experience exchange in all fields of external and internal tourism, to promote cooperation between the interested Ukrainian and Turkmen organizations, associations and the companies which take part in development of the international tourism. For the purpose of improvement of mutual exchange of tourists between two states of the Party will cooperate:

a) in experience exchange in the field of holding actions in the field of tourism;

b) in exchange of printing editions about tourism;

c) in studying of opportunities of the organization of mutual exhibitions, display of movies, carrying out symposiums and seminars concerning tourism in both countries.

Article 3

The parties will promote the interested organizations in the presentation and implementation of investment projects in the field of tourism, including by creation of joint businesses, in also in the field of training of specialists in the corresponding industries.
