About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About foreign economic activity"

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About foreign economic activity" (Sheets of the Supreme Council of USSR, 1991, No. 29, Art. 377 with subsequent changes) the following changes:

1) in Article 9:

the ninth parts one after the words "on trade" to add the paragraph with the words "except the cases determined by this Law";

the eleventh parts two to add the paragraph with words and figures "or implementation of other actions according to parts eleven and the twelfth article 29 of this Law";

Article 29 after part ten to add 2) with four new parts of the following content:

"If discrimination and/or unfriendly actions are applied to Ukraine by the state recognized by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the state aggressor and/or the state invader, the measures determined by part three of this Article can be applied according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Additional measures which can be applied in reply are:

prohibition of the external economic transactions or establishment of restriction for their implementation;

cancellation of the tariff privileges (tariff preferences) at the rates of the Customs tariff of Ukraine by stop of release from the taxation import duty, applications of preferential or complete rates of import duty or cancellation of the tariff quotas.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine makes the decision on application of measures in response to actions of the state aggressor and/or state invader without observance of requirements of parts four - the ninth this Article.

The decision on application of measures in response to actions of the state aggressor and/or state invader shall contain the term of their application, except cases of application of the measures leading to the termination of the rights, and other actions which on content cannot temporarily be applied".
