About modification and amendments in some legal acts

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. – In the Law on fauna No. 439-XIII of April 27, 1995 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 1995, Art. No. 62-63, 688), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes and additions:

1. To add article 2 after the concept "fauna" with the concept "selection hunting" of the following content:

"selection hunting – hunting actions for production from populations of settled hunting animals (hoofed mammals) of individuals degenerate, sick, wounded, with explicit variations in behavior, both floors and all age groupes;".

2. Add Article 11 with Item-1) from the following content:

"-1) from selection hunting;".

3. Add the law with Article 14-1 of the following content:

"Article 14-1. Selection hunting

Selection hunting will be organized and carried out by the managing hunting fund, and in the state especially protected natural territories – the managing director's workers. Selection hunting is carried out individually, in ambush, using cut weapon. The procedure for the organization and implementation of selection hunting is established by the provision approved by the Government developed by the central body of the state for management of natural resources and environmental protection.".

4. Add Article 29 with part (4) the following content:

"(4) Regulation of number of animals in the state especially protected natural territories will be organized by workers of the managing director and it is performed by them individually, in ambush, using cut weapon, from tower or other specially equipped places. The procedure for the organization and implementation of regulation of number of animals in the state especially protected natural territories is established by the provision approved by the Government developed by the central body of the state for management of natural resources and environmental protection.".
