the hereinafter referred to as Contracting Parties,
in view of, regulations of the Convention of UNESCO on the measures directed to prohibition and the prevention of illegal import, export and transfer of property to cultural values of 1970, noting that illegal import, export and transit of cultural values causes damage to cultural property of the people which protection shall be promoted by customs and other competent authorities of the states,
agreed as follows:
Contracting parties will aim to strengthen fight against illicit movement of cultural values through frontiers of the states of the Parties and to strengthen customs cooperation in this area.
Cultural values in the cases provided by national legal systems of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Armenia can be exported from these states according to export permits.
The concept of cultural values is under this agreement determined according to the national legal system of each of Contracting Parties.
The export permit of cultural values is issued by the bodies of the state authorized on that from which territory export is performed. Movement of cultural values is performed in the presence of export permits.
Contracting parties exchange necessary quantity samples of forms of permissions and prints of seals by which they are assured.
The physical persons or representatives of legal entities moving cultural values shall declare availability at them such values and show them together with export permits for customs control.
