About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About voluntary consolidation of territorial communities" concerning features of state registration of local government bodies as legal entities

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in article 8 of the Law of Ukraine "About voluntary consolidation of territorial communities" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2015, No. 13, Art. 91; with the changes made by the Law of Ukraine of November 26, 2015 No. 835-VIII) the following changes:

parts the second - the ninth, eleventh and twelfth to state in the following edition:

"2. Powers of village, settlement, city councils, the rural, settlement, city chairmen elected by territorial communities which united, come to the end in day of finding of powers by the village, settlement, city council elected the integrated territorial community.

After completion of powers of the village, settlement, city councils elected territorial communities which united their executive committees continue to perform the powers before approval by the village, settlement, city council elected the integrated territorial community, staff of its executive committee. During the specified term the rural, settlement, city chairman elected by the integrated territorial community heads such executive committees and is their members.

After completion of powers of the rural chairman who solely performed functions of executive body of village council in the territorial community which entered the integrated territorial community the corresponding functions are performed solely by the rural, settlement, city chairman elected by the integrated territorial community from the date of the introduction in powers before statement of staff of its executive committee by the relevant village, settlement, city council.

3. The integrated territorial community is legal successor of all property, the rights and obligations of territorial communities from the date of finding of powers by the village, settlement, city council elected such integrated territorial community.
