About modification of the Technical regulation of safety of rail transport

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

1. Bring in the Technical regulation of safety of rail transport approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of July 11, 2013 No. 494 (The Official Bulletin of Ukraine, 2013, No. 54, the Art. 1969), changes which are applied.

2. This resolution becomes effective in six months from the date of its publication.

The changes made to the Technical regulation of safety of rail transport

1. The paragraph one of Item 1 to state in the following edition:

"1. This Technical regulation determines the main requirements to elements of infrastructure of rail transport during its designing, production, construction, installation, adjustment, operation, and also assessment procedure of compliance to requirements of this Technical regulation and is developed taking into account requirements:".

2. In Item 2:

Subitem 1 to state 1) in the following edition:

"1) safety of rail transport - condition in case of which safety of life and human health in case of their transportation by railway transport is ensured and environment protection;";

The second subitem 3 of the word "the rail vehicles which do not have work" shall be replaced with words 2) in the paragraph "the railway vehicles of rail transport which do not have work";

3) to add Item with the subitem 8 of the following content:

"8) railway tracks of uncommon use - railway tracks of subjects of managing which are used for provision of services of rail transport and for own needs.".
