About modification of item 4 of the Regulations on the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

1. Bring in item 4 of the Regulations on the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of July 2, 2014 No. 228 (The Official Bulletin of Ukraine, 2014, No. 54, the Art. 1455, No. 85, Art. 2412; 2015, No. 6, the Art. 127), changes which are applied.

2. This resolution becomes effective along with the Law of Ukraine of October 20, 2014 No. 1709-VII "About modification of some legal acts of Ukraine of rather some questions of inheritance".

The changes made to item 4 of the Regulations on the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine

"69) is performed by state regulation of notarial activities, in particular identifies conditions of the admission of citizens and officials of the local government bodies authorized on making of the notarial actions provided by the law (further - authorized persons) to production of notarial activities, exercises control of the organization of notariate and notarial activities of authorized persons, management of offices of notary public, checks the organization of notarial activities of notaries, observance of procedure for making of notarial actions and accomplishment of rules of notarial clerical work by them, checks notaries and authorized persons as special subjects to whom functions of the state registrar are assigned grants and cancels in the procedure established by the law certificates on the right to occupation notarial activities, grants to authorized persons the certificate on the right to making of notarial actions for execution of the succession law, establishes procedure for production and destruction of seal of the private notary, the requirement to workplace (office) of the private notary and authorized persons; approves procedure for passing of training by authorized persons, procedure for conducting check of the organization of notarial activities of the state, private notaries and authorized persons, observance by them of procedure for making of notarial actions and accomplishment of rules of notarial clerical work, procedure for advanced training of employees of bodies of notariate, notaries, assistants to notaries and authorized persons, establishes rules of professional ethics of notaries, performs analytical and methodical ensuring notarial activities, generalizes and regulates notarial practice, prepares for notaries and authorized persons of explanation on the questions which are within the competence of the Ministry provides provision to notaries and authorized persons of the methodical help in the field of state registration of the rights to real estate and their encumbrances,";

"72) provides the organization of work of the Highest qualification commission of notariate, the Commission on questions of application of sanctions for violation of requirements of the acts of the legislation regulating activities in the field of prevention and counteraction of legalization (washing) of income gained in the criminal way or to terrorism financing, and the commission concerning passing an examination on succession law by officials of local government bodies, representatives on making of notarial actions;".
