About free economic zones in the Republic of Tajikistan
This Law, determining organizational, legal and economic basis of creation, functioning and liquidation of free economic zones in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan, regulates questions of financing and business activity in free economic zones.
In this Law the following basic concepts are used:
the free economic zone - the certain (limited) site of the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan within which not only the particular customs and tax regime, but also the simplified procedure for entrance and departure of nonresidents and preferential regulations of use of natural resources is effective;
the independent budget of the free economic zone - the form of organization and expenditure of money of the free economic zone used for financial provision of its purposes and tasks and approved according to the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan;
fund of development of the free economic zone - the fund of money used for rendering temporary financial aid to the subjects of business activity registered in the free economic zone including in the form of preferential crediting;
procedure for the simplified entrance - entrance on the territory of the country and to the free economic zone for the purpose of implementation of business activity of foreign citizens and stateless persons which procedure is determined by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan,

- more effective involvement of economy of the republic and its certain regions in world economic community;
- providing favorable conditions for attraction of foreign investments, technologies and managerial experience;
