About modification and amendments in some legal acts

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. – In the Law on National Bank of Moldova No. 548-XIII of July 21, 1995 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2015, Art. No. 297-300, 544) to make the following changes:

1. In Item b) parts (1) Article 5 of the word "the states and its fiscal agent;" shall be replaced with words "and the agent of the state;".

2. In Article 37:

to state the name of Article in the following edition:

"Article 37. Banker and agent of the state";

in part (the word "fiscal" to exclude 1).

3. State Article 40 in the following edition:

"Article 40. Functions of the agent of the state

The National Bank acts on the basis of the agreements with the Ministry of Finance as the government securities agent of the state in the form of records on accounts in that, as for:

a) the organizations and carrying out, on behalf of the Ministry of Finance, placement of government securities in the domestic market;

b) implementation of registration in the System of records on security accounts organized by National Bank;

c) principal payments, discount, percent and other payments connected with government securities;

d) provisions to the Ministry of Finance of consultations on further market development of government securities;

e) other transactions according to the main task and the main functions of National Bank.".

Art. II. – In the Law on financial institutions No. 550-XIII of July 21, 1995 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2011, Art. No. 78-81, 199), with subsequent changes to make the following additions:

1. The part Item j-1) (articles 22 after the words "The Ministries of Finance —" to add 5) with the words "according to part (10-1) Articles 32 or".

2. Add Article 32 with part (10-1) following contents:
