The government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of Turkmenistan which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

understanding readiness of both states for full cooperation in the field of education,

based on the international standards, in view of national legal systems of two states,

aiming to develop and enhance equality and cooperation in the field of education,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will develop and support cooperation between the relevant organizations and organizations of the states of the Parties in the field of education on the basis of the principles of equality and mutual respect, according to the national legal system of the states and rules of international law.

Article 2

The parties will promote implementation of direct partner connections between teaching and educational organizations of the states of the Parties, the organizations of conferences, festivals, creative tenders, the subject Olympic Games, sporting and other events which conditions and procedure for carrying out will separately make a reservation.

Article 3

The parties will assist in every possible way exchange of educational, scientific, methodical literature, monographic researches in the field of education taking into account the reforms of educational systems undertaken in the states of the Parties.

Article 4

The parties will perform cooperation in the field of education, in preparation and advanced training of specialists in the following forms:

- experience exchange in the most important directions of development, planning, the organization and management in the field of education;

- strengthening of sci-tech cooperation;

- establishment of cooperation between educational institutions of two countries on the basis of direct contracts between them.
