The point of joint of frontiers of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan and People's Republic of China which further is referred to as with point of joint of frontiers of three states is located on ridge watershed Southern Altai (Ridge Altai) approximately in 3, km to the southwest from height with mark 3086, being in the territory of the Russian Federation, approximately in km 2,90 to the South South East from height with mark 3339, being in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, approximately in km 2,81 to the North North East from height with mark 2988, being in the territory of People's Republic of China.
Coordinates of point of joint of frontiers of three states: geographical: 49 °06,9' northern latitude; 87 ° 17,2' east longitude; rectangular: X = 5 442 595, Y = 15 520 905, height - 3327.
