Article 1

Parties:

mutually recognize the operating state systems of standardization, metrology and certification on mutually advantageous conditions;

provide mutual provision of regulating and reference documents on standardization, metrology and certification on agreed terms;

recognize the state standards of single physical quantities, standard samples of structure of properties of substances and materials, standard help data on physical constants and properties of substances and materials approved by the Parties;

recognize in collateral order results of the state testing, approvals of type, calibration and metrological certification of the measuring instruments which are carried out by other Party;

mutually recognize in collateral order of the organization of the Parties which carry out accreditation of testing, test and calibrating laboratories, centers, and also the laboratories and the centers performing checking, testing and calibration of measuring instruments according to mutually agreed procedures accredited by these organizations;

recognize in collateral order certification bodies of other Party, test laboratories and the centers, and also certificates of conformity and marks of conformity on products and services in mutually agreed rules and procedures.
