About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About citizenship of the Republic of Armenia"

Article 1. From part 10 of article 13 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About citizenship of the Republic of Armenia" of November 6, 1995, ZR-16 (further - the Law) to exclude the words "and the information benefit about features of the legislation of the Republic of Armenia developed by authorized body of the Government of the Republic of Armenia".

Article 2. In article 29 of the Law:

The word "year" of part 2 to replace 1) with the word "six-months";

To add 2) with parts 3 and 4 of the following content:

"Data on the statements concerning questions of citizenship of the Republic of Armenia petitions, the course of their consideration, for nationality of person can be transferred or be provided to physical persons, the organizations, state bodies and local government bodies, and also foreign states only with the consent of the applicant or person who obtained citizenship of the Republic of Armenia or, in the cases provided by the law or international treaties.

The obligation of submission of the agreement provided by part 3 of this Article bears making inquiry about data acquisition.".

Article 3. Transitional provisions

1. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day following behind day of official publication.

2. Six-months term, stipulated in Item 1 article 2 of this Law is effective in case of consideration of the applications, the concerning questions of nationality provided after entry into force of this Law.
