Article 1

The parties will promote cooperation in the field of culture and art and to direct acquaintance of the public with cultural values and achievements of other Party.

Article 2

The parties will create in limits to the competence favorable conditions for development of cultural ties, cultural exchange and cooperation in the field of theatrical, fine, variety and circus art, library and museum science, protection of objects of historical and cultural heritage, amateur creativity, national crafts and other types of cultural activities.

Article 3

The parties will promote participation of artists and cultural workers in the international seminars, conferences, meetings, festivals, tenders organized in the states directed to interference of brotherly cultures.

Article 4

The parties confirm guarantees of free and equal development of national cultural heritage of the people of Kazakhstan and the Kazakhs living in Turkmenistan and the people of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen living in Kazakhstan.

Article 5

The parties will help on the basis of bilateral annual programs and projects of cultural cooperation of the organization of tours of theaters, art collectives and contractors, to mutual delivery to national repositories of the approved copies of printed materials, exchange of art exhibitions and museum exposures.
