agreed as follows:

Article 1

This agreement determines the main directions and conditions of interaction of the Parties concerning providing social guarantees of the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation living and/or working at the Baikonur complex.

Article 2

For the purposes of this agreement the term "authority of the Party" means:

for the Kazakhstan Side - the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

for the Russian side - the Ministry of Labour and social development of the Russian Federation.

Article 3

Social guarantees of the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan living and/or working at the Baikonur complex are provided according to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, except as herein otherwise provided.
