agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will promote development of cooperation in the field of science, the equipment and information on the basis of the principles of equality and mutual advantage.

Article 2

The parties will develop cooperation in the field of natural, humanitarian and technical science, advanced technologies, preparation of scientific personnel, protection of industrial and intellectual property.

Specific forms and conditions of cooperation will be regulated by free standing agreements between state bodies, the research organizations, higher education institutions, associations and funds of the states within their competence, according to national legal systems of the states of the Parties.

Article 3

The cooperation within this agreement will be implemented in the following forms:

implementation of joint research programs for creation and development of high technologies;

scientific work in the research organizations, higher education institutions, archives and libraries of the states of the Parties, including joint field surveys and expeditions;

exchange of scientific and technical information, documentation, literature and bibliographic editions;

holding scientific conferences, meetings, seminars and working meetings;

exchange of scientists, specialists, doctoral candidates and graduate students, increase in their qualification, organization of training;

forming of joint groups of authors on creation of the scientific works which are of mutual interest, textbooks and scientific guidelines manuals;
