The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan and executive committee of the Dnipropetrovsk regional council of People's Deputies which are hereinafter referred to as the Party
being guided by the agreements reached during negotiations of government delegations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Ukraine on January 20, 1994 in Kiev and in case of visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Dnipropetrovsk region, considering mutual aspiration of the Parties and to development multilateral economic and sci-tech cooperation, to recovery of the broken production bonds,
agreed as follows:
1. The cooperation according to this agreement will be performed in the fields of economy, the industry, agricultural industry, mining, power, transport, science and technology, trade, training and other industries approved by the Parties on the questions which are of mutual interest.
2. The parties will promote creation of optimum conditions for development of cooperation on the basis of mutual advantage, non-admissions of the actions causing economic damage each other will aim at ensuring wider base for development of direct connections between partners at all levels, between the companies, the organizations and firms irrespective of their patterns of ownership and subordination.
3. As priority areas of cooperation of the Party allocate the following: power, chemistry, petrochemistry, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, light industry, agro-industrial complex, transport, communication, electronics, questions of scientific and technical development.
The parties consider important cooperation in the field of reshaping, reconstruction and conversion of the companies of defense industry, exchange of practical experience in these questions.
