expressing aspiration to equal and mutually beneficial cooperation for the benefit of ensuring state security of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Azerbaijan Republic,
assuming liabilities not to organize and not to carry out work against each other, confirming the commitment to the principles of sovereignty, equality, non-interference to internal affairs of each other and observance of the national legal system, agreed as follows:
The parties cooperate and interact for the benefit of safety according to the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Azerbaijan Republic for what determine the directions and lines of work for the solution of specific objectives.
The parties shall communicate timely, got through investigation and counterintelligence, about the revealed prospecting and blasting aspirations of intelligence agencies and organizations of the third states to the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Azerbaijan Republic.
The parties within the competence will cooperate and interact on questions:
3.1. Fight against organized crime, corruption of interregional and interstate nature, the international terrorism in all its manifestations, drug trafficking, smuggling by the weapon, ammunition, explosive, toxic agents and radioactive materials, precious metals and stones, objects which are of cultural, historical and art value, the illegal economic and financial activities infringing on interests of both states.
3.2. Safety of the international transport and the communication which are of interest to the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Azerbaijan Republic.
3.3. Holding security actions concerning statesmen of both republics during their stay with official visits in Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
