About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About counterintelligence activities"

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About counterintelligence activities" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2003, No. 12, the Art. 89, No. 27, Art. 209; 2006, No. 14, Art. 116) following changes:

Part the second articles 5 after words "prospecting bodies of Ukraine" to add 1) with words of "division of ensuring internal and own security of the State Border Service of Ukraine";

Part the second articles 6 after words "prospecting bodies of Ukraine" to add 2) with words "divisions of ensuring internal and own security of the State Border Service of Ukraine";

3) in Article 8:

the eighth after words "the head of prospecting body of Ukraine or his deputies" to add part with words "the division manager of ensuring internal and own security of the central executive body realizing state policy in the field of protection of frontier or his deputy";

the ninth to state part in the following edition:

"It is exclusive for the purpose of holding counterprospecting actions, systematization and documentary fixing of the received results, their analysis and operational assessment within the rights and tasks concerning protection (protection) of frontier of Ukraine determined by the law under approval of the Security Service of Ukraine and in interaction with it divisions of boundary investigation with the permission of the chief of prospecting body and division of ensuring internal and own security of the State Border Service of Ukraine with the permission of the division manager of ensuring internal and own security of the central executive body realizing state policy in the field of protection of frontier or their deputies, and in the cases connected with safety of the forces and means, information systems and operational accounting can run counterprospecting business prospecting bodies of Ukraine with the permission of their heads or their deputies can run counterprospecting business".
