being guided by the Agreement on the Commonwealth of Independent States of December 8, 1991 and the Almaty declaration of December 21, 1991,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will promote:

- to development of cooperation in the field of culture, science, education, sport, including between public organizations, the creative unions, associations and funds;

- to acquaintance with culture of other Party, historically developed large meetings and collections of cultural values which integrity they confirm;

- to mutual access to the state library, archive and museum stocks of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Belarus for citizens of both states on equal terms and to use of these funds in the cultural, scientific and educational purposes.

Article 2

The parties will assist development of cooperation in training in the field of culture, science and education, to experience exchange between the interested departments and the organizations, to establishment, expansion and deepening of direct cooperation and direct connections between public institutions and public organizations in the field of culture, science, education, including at the level of regions.
