in view of exclusive importance and relevance of the efforts concerning cooperation in the field of environmental protection and coordination of collateral actions on participation of both countries in national and international ecological programs
agreed about the following:
The parties develop programs of synchronization of the legislation in the field of the environment, including regulations, standard rates and standards.
The parties cooperate in studying of the environment, exchange of the relevant information, creation of system of the mutual warning of ecologically dangerous situations.
The parties will cooperate in the field of protection of the environment, production of scientific and technical works, monitoring, implementation of expert and advisory meetings.
The parties will cooperate in area of public administration and regulation of environmental protection and environmental management, state control, experience exchange of use of the corresponding economic mechanisms, probations of specialists.
The parties will cooperate in area of implementation of joint research operations, exchange of results of scientific and technical developments, including the available projects on problems of protection of oil fields of coastal part of the Caspian Sea, and also creation and realization of ekologo-economic and power resource-saving systems and constructions.
The parties exchange data on national sources of dangerous impact on the environment.
