1. The Republic of Kazakhstan and Georgia, based on historically developed traditions of friendship, neighborliness and cooperation, aiming to give new quality to bilateral ties, intend to develop the comprehensive mutually beneficial economic relations that is equitable to national interests of both states and will promote their development and prosperity.

Both Parties will build the relations on the basis of international law, respect for sovereignty and equality, mutual respect and mutual understanding and to abstain from the actions able to cause damage each other.

2. Kazakhstan and Georgia confirm intention to develop economic cooperation as contribution to process of OSCE, and also to create favorable conditions for further integration of these countries into the European and world economy.

Both Parties divide general tasks on ensuring development of both bilateral, and multilateral cooperation with the purpose of acceleration of economic, technological and social progress and encouragement of business activity.

The parties are single that economic cooperation will develop without violation by them of the undertaken obligations earlier and will not interfere with development of the relations with the third countries, the international organizations and cooperation within regional initiatives.

3. Taking into account interests of the Parties Kazakhstan and Georgia attach special significance to development of economic cooperation on the principles of market economy. All forms of cooperation in case of development and assistance of the developed traditional contacts between the corresponding industries, the companies and the organizations will be encouraged for this purpose.

Also all efforts and in the legislative plan for creation of favorable legal and economic conditions for the purpose of strengthening and development of these contacts according to requirements of free entrepreneurship will be made.
