About modification of the Law of Turkmenistan "About traffic safety"

"Article 13. Competence of Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, other troops and military bodies for traffic safety

1. Treat competence of Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, other troops and military bodies for safety of traffic:

1) training, preparation, retraining of driver's structure (the military personnel passing military service and other citizens) of vehicles (including motor-transport, armored and other technical means) for Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, other troops and military bodies and issue of permissions instructor teaching to personnel of schools on training of the drivers of motor transport who are under their authority;

2) registration of vehicles and maintaining their statistical recording according to regulatory legal acts of Turkmenistan;

3) organization and implementation of engineering supervision of own vehicle park;

4) maintenance of columns of military vehicles;

5) implementation of other powers according to regulatory legal acts of Turkmenistan.

2. Training, preparation, retraining of the driver's structure specified in Item of 1 part one of this Article for other troops and the military bodies which are not part of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan which are carrying out tasks in the field of defense according to the plan of defense of the country according to their purpose can be performed by relevant organs of the Ministry of Defence of Turkmenistan or the State Border Service of Turkmenistan.".

II. This Law becomes effective from the date of its official publication.
