About measures for further enhancement of activities of the Tashkent state technical university
For the purpose of cardinal increase in level of training of the highly qualified specialists capable to provide effective realization so-so and long-term strategic programs for upgrade and diversification of key branches of the industry, further enhancement of the organization and improvement of quality of training of personnel taking into account international experience of development of engineering education, and also creation for this purpose of necessary modern material and technical resources:
1. Accept the offer of the Ministry of the higher and secondary vocational education, the Ministry of Economics, Ministry of Finance and Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan on reorganization of the Tashkent state technical university of Islam Karimov (further - TGTU) based on TGTU and Institute of ion-plasma and laser technologies of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
2. Determine the main objectives of activities of the Tashkent state technical university of Abu Raykhan Beruni:
providing high-quality, at the level of international standards, preparation, retraining and advanced training of highly qualified specialists in the field of mechanical engineering, power, engineering geology and mining, electronics and instrument making, engineering intellectual systems;
carrying out the applied research and development directed to the solution of scientific and technological tasks of development of industries of economy, approbation and implementation of the advanced foreign technologies;
development of the state educational standards, curricula and programs, scientific and methodical literature in the corresponding technical and production directions and specialties taking into account experience of educational institutions of foreign countries and requirements of national economy;
development of partner bonds with the lead foreign technical highest educational institutions and scientific centers for the purpose of implementation of joint scientific projects, involvement of foreign specialists in scientific and educational process.
