About modification and amendments in some legal acts
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. – In the Criminal code of the Republic of Moldova No. 985-XV of April 18, 2002 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2009, Art. No. 72-74, 195), with subsequent changes to make the following changes and additions:
1. In Article 186:
add Article with part (2-1) following of content:
"(2-1) Theft of values of cultural heritage from archaeological monuments or from zones with archaeological potential
it is punished by penalty in the amount of 1000 to 2000 conventional units or imprisonment for a period of 2 up to 5 years.";
in dispositions of parts (4) and (5) words "parts (1), (2) or (3)," shall be replaced with words "parts (1) – (3),".
2. In Article 187:
add Article with part (2-1) following of content:
"(2-1) Robbery for the purpose of property theft of cultural heritage from archaeological monuments or from zones with archaeological potential
it is punished by imprisonment for a period of 6 up to 8 years with imposing of penalty in the amount of 1000 to 2000 conventional units.";
in dispositions of parts (4) and (5) words "parts (1), (2) or (3)," shall be replaced with words "parts (1) – (3),".
3. In Article 188:
add Article with part (2-1) following of content:
"(2-1) Robbery for the purpose of property theft of cultural heritage from archaeological monuments or from zones with archaeological potential
it is punished by imprisonment for a period of 8 up to 10 years with imposing of penalty in the amount of 1000 to 2000 conventional units.";
in dispositions of parts (4) and (5) words "parts (1), (2) or (3)," shall be replaced with words "parts (1) – (3),".
4. In Article 190:
add Article with part (2-1) following of content:
"(2-1) Obtaining by fraud of values of cultural heritage from archaeological monuments or from zones with archaeological potential
