About measures for further enhancement of activities of National university of Uzbekistan

For the purpose of cardinal increase in level and quality of training of highly qualified specialists taking into account international experience of development of the higher education, further strengthening of scientific capacity of National university, strengthening of interrelation of educational process with research activities, broad involvement of the faculty and students in carrying out basic and applied researches, and also creations for this purpose necessary modern infrastructure and material and technical resources:

1. Accept the offer of the Ministry of the higher and secondary vocational education, the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of national education and Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan on reorganization of National university of Uzbekistan of Mirzo Ulugbek (further - National university) based on National university and Institute of nuclear physics of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

2. Determine the main objectives of activities of National university:

implementation up-to-date preparation of highly qualified teaching and scientific personnel in the field of fundamental and the humanities, ensuring development and enhancement of educational programs of the higher education as basic university of the republic;

carrying out basic scientific research, development of domestic schools of sciences in the perspective, high-technology directions of science, further strengthening of cooperation with the leading foreign universities and scientific centers in spheres of science and the higher education;

coordination of teaching and educational, scientific and methodical and cultural and educational activities of the highest educational institutions of the country, providing continuity and succession of steps of system of life-long education;

enhancement of system of retraining and advanced training of teachers of the highest educational institutions and specialists of the research organizations at the level of acknowledged international requirements and standards.
