Article 1. "About alternative service" of December 17, 2003 to state article 1 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia to ZR-6-N (further - the Law) in the following edition:
"Article 1. Legislation on alternative service
The relations connected with alternative service are regulated by this Law, the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About bases of administration and administrative production" so far as this Law does not provide other, by other laws, and also other legal acts adopted on the basis of this Law.".
Article 2. To state article 3 of the Law in the following edition:
"Article 3. Basis of transition to alternative service
1. The citizen of the Republic of Armenia whose religion and beliefs are contradicted only by carrying, content, storage or use can pass to alternative military service.
The citizen of the Republic of Armenia whose religion and beliefs are contradicted by passing of military service generally can pass to alternative labor service.
2. The citizen of the Republic of Armenia passing obligatory military service cannot refuse service and elect alternative service, and the citizen passing alternative service cannot refuse the service and elect obligatory military service.".
