Article 1

For the purposes of this Agreement stated below terms mean:

"External borders" - frontiers of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation with the third countries which are not the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States;

"Military personnel of Border troops of the Republic of Kazakhstan" the officers, ensigns (warrant officers) who were serving in the Russian Federation at the time of creation of Border troops of the Russian Federation (on June 12, 1992), naturalized the Republic of Kazakhstan and to the signature of this agreement passing military service under the contract in Border troops of the Russian Federation;
