development of the state educational standards, curricula and programs, scientific and methodical literature in the corresponding pedagogical directions and specialties, approbation and implementation of the advanced pedagogical technologies taking into account experience of foreign educational institutions and requirements of educational institutions of the country;
coordination of scientific and pedagogical and educational and methodical activities of the highest and average special, professional educational institutions performing preparation pedagogical engineering and pedagogical and research and educational personnel in the republic, irrespective of their departmental subordination;
scientific and methodical support of activities of pedagogical educational institutions of creation and enhancement of the state educational standards, curricula and programs, educational, methodical and scientific literature and electronic and educational resources, implementation in educational process modern pedagogical, multimedia and information and communication technologies;
