being guided by mutual desire to develop cooperation in the field of tourism between the states of the Parties,

recognizing importance of bilateral ties in the field of tourism and considering them as essential and necessary factor of social and economic development, strengthening of the friendly relations and deepening of mutual understanding between the people of the states of the Parties,

according to the Treaty of friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Ukraine of January 20, 1994,

confirming provisions of the Declaration on further development of cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Ukraine of October 14, 1997,

wishing to create the legal basis for further development of tourist exchanges on the basis of equality and mutual advantage,

agreed about the following:

Article 1

The parties will strengthen and encourage cooperation in the field of tourism between the states of the Parties according to national legal systems of the states of the Parties, including this agreement, and also other international treaties which participants are the states of the Parties.

Article 2

The parties will promote establishment and expansion of business contacts between the Kazakhstan and Ukrainian tourist associations, the organizations and the companies of different patterns of ownership participating in development of the international tourism, performing capital investments in the sphere of tourism, and also joint activities for servicing of tourists.
