Article 1

Transportation of goods between stations of the railroads of both Parties will be performed on the basis of the regulating documents acting at the time of the signature of this agreement.

Article 2

Contracting parties agreed that:

- in case of transportation of goods between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan, in those and other directions, payments are made by the Sredneziatsky railroad

- in national currency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on roads of Kazakhstan - in national currency of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- calculations for transit transportation of goods by railway transport through the territories of the Parties are perfromed in freely convertible currency or other contractual currency, including national currencies of the Parties;

- guarantee of ensuring payments are the governments of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Article 3

This agreement becomes effective from the date of its signing and will be effective before its denouncement by one of the Parties which informs on it other Party in six months prior to day of denouncement.
