About transit of exceptional loads and the military contingents

Article 1. Purpose of this Law

This Law governs the public relations in the field of protection of interests and safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan in case of transit of exceptional loads and the military contingents.

Article 2. Basic concepts

In this Law the following basic concepts are applied:

exceptional loads - arms, military equipment, military property, dangerous goods, and also objects which turnover in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan is under the state control;

the applicant - person who addresses for receipt of permission to transit of exceptional loads and the military contingents;

transit - movement through the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan under control of authorized bodies of exceptional loads and the military contingents any kind of transport, the points of departure and which appointments are outside the Republic of Uzbekistan;

permission to transit - the document granting the right to transit of exceptional loads and the military contingents;

the owner of permission to transit - person who got permission to transit of exceptional loads and the military contingents;

dangerous goods - substances, materials, products, waste which owing to properties and features inherent in them in the presence of certain factors can in the course of transportation, of handling works to be cause of explosion, the fire or damage of the transported loads, technical means, devices, buildings and constructions, other objects, and also damnification of life and to human health, the environment;

arms and military equipment - complexes of different types of weapon and means of ensuring of its fighting application, including the delivery system, system of targeting, start-up, management, and also other special technical means intended for equipment of armed forces, ammunition and their components, spare parts, devices and components to devices, educational weapon (prototypes, exercise machines and simulators of different types of arms and military equipment);
