agreed as follows:

1. General provisions

The parties will promote implementation of trade and economic, scientific and technical and cultural ties on the basis of equality, partnership and mutual advantage according to legislations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan, rules of international law and international treaties between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The contract responsibility and to the agreements signed according to this agreement is born by the business entities of the Parties who imprisoned them.

2. Trade and economic cooperation

The parties will assist expansion and deepening of long-term cooperation in the field of industrial production, trade, telecommunications, transport, agricultural products, in establishment of new direct economic connections between the companies.

The parties, within the powers, render assistance in cooperation between the companies and the organizations of Tashkent and Astana in the field of economy in the way: - holding different industry and multi-profile shows and fairs;

- rendering assistance for mutual investments, creation of joint businesses;

- exchange of perspective technologies.

3. Sci-tech cooperation

The parties will help cooperation between research establishments, universities, institutes in the field of designing of perspective technologies, the organization of joint research projects.
