The government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of Ukraine which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties for the purpose of enhancement and expansion of development of cooperation between both Parties in development of oil and gas complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the terms of mutual advantage

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties determined that the cooperation will be performed in questions of investigation, arrangement and development of oil and gas fields, constructions of apartment houses, subjects to welfare appointment and roads for the purpose of growth in volumes of production and oil supply, natural gas and products of their conversion to Ukraine and the third countries.

Article 2

The parties will promote development of cooperation of the state organizations, creation of joint businesses, joint-stock companies, establishment of direct connections between the companies of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Ukraine.

Article 3

The parties agreed that the surplus of amounts of oil and gas received as a result of joint activities of the Kazakhstan and Ukrainian companies will be delivered to Ukraine under separate agreements.

Article 4

The parties will charge to relevant organs to prepare in two-month time the common approved offerings about cooperation increase and to develop the documents regulating the legal and economic sides of cooperation and activities of joint businesses in the territory of the Kazakhstan oil and gas complex.
