About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About the Central bank of the Republic of Armenia"

Accepted by National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on April 30, 2009

Article 1. Add article 6 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About the Central bank of the Republic of Armenia" of June 30, 1996, ZR-69, with part 3 following of content:

"3. Central Bank annually, till May 1, sends to National Assembly and according to the procedure and term, established by the Law of the Republic of Armenia "Regulations of National Assembly" at meeting of National Assembly represents the program of monetary policy approved in the first quarter the current year.".

Article 2. To add article 15 of the Law with part 3 following of content:

"3. The report of the Central bank submitted to National Assembly consists of reports on administrative expenses of the Central bank and capital investments.".

Article 3. To declare the second paragraph of article 16 of the Law invalid.

Article 4. In article 17 of the Law:

Part 1 to add 1) with the new paragraph of the following content:

"The control chamber draws the conclusion about the annual financial report of the Central bank.";

To add 2) with part 1.1 following of content:

"1.1. Central Bank till May 1 every year constitutes and sends the report provided by part 3 of article 15 of this Law to National Assembly.";

Part 2 after the word "publishes" 3) to add with words ", and also sends to National Assembly, the government and other interested state bodies.";

Part 4 to state 4) in the following edition:

"4. Central Bank annually, till May 1, sends to National Assembly and according to the procedure and term, established by the Law of the Republic of Armenia "Regulations of National Assembly" at meeting of National Assembly submits the performance report of the program of monetary policy of previous year.".
