wishing to promote further development and deepening of bilateral cooperation in the fields of education and sciences,

for the purpose of setting standards of mutual recognition of education documents both academic (scientific) degrees and academic statuses

agreed as follows:

Article 1

This agreement extends to the documents of the state sample on education, academic (scientific) degrees and academic statuses issued in the states of the Parties.

Article 2

The documents of the state sample on general secondary education issued in the states of the Parties mutually are recognized and are equivalent in case of continuation of education at the subsequent level according to legislations of the states of the Parties.

Article 3

Diplomas and certificates about the termination of initial and average professional educational institutions in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also diplomas and certificates on the termination of professional educational institutions mutually are recognized Ukraine and are equivalent in case of revenues to work according to the appropriated profession, qualification if duration of training and content of training in them in the specialty and professions are similar.

Article 4

The parties recognize the diplomas issued in the state of one Party which correspond to the diplomas issued by higher educational institutions of the state of other Party about qualification assignment the junior specialist, the bachelor, the specialist and the master with the corresponding term of training and granting the right to training continuation if the term of training and content of education in them in the specialty are similar, and also in case of revenues to work according to the appropriated qualification.
