The government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of Turkmenistan which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

aiming at further development of mutual cooperation in the field of geodesy, cartography and interdisciplinary sciences and technologies,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The cooperation within this agreement will be performed with involvement of the relevant organizations of the Parties and can wear the following uniforms:

a) production of land and cartographic works;

b) printing services according to the edition of cards, atlases and other types of printed materials;

c) accomplishment of space shootings of the territories and data exchange of remote sensing;

d) development of methodology of creation of banks of digital data about the area, geographic information systems;

e) exchange of the scientific and technical and production information and information concerning geographical study of the territory of the states of the Parties;

e) experience exchange of work between the land, cartographic organizations and educational institutions performing training in the field of geodesy and cartography;

g) training and training of specialists in geodesy and cartography.

Specific purposes, tasks and conditions of such cooperation will be determined by the organizations contractors of kartografo-geodetic services of the Parties in coordination with relevant organs of public administration.

For the purpose of program implementation of cooperation of the Party will take measures to perhaps simplified movement through frontier of devices, necessary for performance of works, and finished kartografo-geodetic goods according to the current legislation of the states.

Article 2

The parties will perform land works on creation and updating of cards of large-scale row within the territory of the state. Outside the territory of the state such works can be performed on contractual basis according to the current legislation of the states.
