noting advantage which exchange of scientific and technical information in the field of the prevention of industrial accidents, catastrophic crashes, natural disasters and liquidation of their effects can have for the Parties,

in view of availability of the interconnected ecological systems of both states requiring carrying out coordinated policy according to the prevention of industrial accidents, catastrophic crashes, natural disasters and liquidation of their effects, the organization of single monitoring of the environment

considering possibility of emergency situation which cannot be liquidated by forces of one of the parties, and the need for the coordinated actions of the Parties for liquidation of emergency situations caused by it,

emphasizing role of the United Nations, other international organizations in the field of the prevention of industrial accidents, catastrophic crashes, natural disasters and liquidation of their effects,

being guided by the Agreement on interaction in the field of the prevention and mitigation of consequences of emergency situations of natural and technogenic nature of January 22, 1993,

agreed as follows:
