hereinafter referred to as - the Parties,

being guided by the Treaty of friendship, cooperation and mutual aid between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan of May 25, 1992,

for the purpose of realization in the bilateral relations of provisions of the Agreement on creation of Economic union of September 24, 1993,

aiming to provide favorable conditions for maintenance and development of production cooperation between the companies of both states,

attaching importance to use of modern forms of interaction in the field of productive, investing, business and financial and credit activity,

agreed as follows:

Article 1.

The parties will promote creation and development of financial and industrial groups based on the Russian and Kazakhstan business entities having technological and cooperation bonds.

The companies of any form of business, irrespective of property type, and also financial institutions, investment institutes and other organizations, including the third countries as it is stipulated by the legislation the State Parties of this agreement can be participants of financial and industrial groups.

Article 2.

Financial and industrial groups are created for the purpose of consolidation of material and financial resources of her participants for increase in competitiveness and production efficiency, expansion and deepening of rational technological and cooperation bonds, increase in the export potential, acceleration of scientific and technical progress and investment attraction.
