1. This Law governs the relations between employers and workers of the categories established by this Law connected with compensation (further also - the salary), and establishes work payment procedure.
Compensation is the payment to workers for the work performed by them made by employers in the cash or established by the legislation of other Republic of Armenia form.
2. Operation of this Law extends to the relations connected with compensation of employees of the organizations operating in the Republic of Armenia (irrespective of their form of business) and individual entrepreneurs, and also employees of state bodies and local government bodies (further - the organizations).
2-1. Operation of this Law does not extend to the relations connected with compensation of civil servants, stipulated in Item "" of article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About civil service".
1. The relations connected with compensation are regulated by the Constitution, Labour and Civil codes, this Law and other legal acts of the Republic of Armenia.
2. If international treaties of the Republic of Armenia establish other regulations, than those which are provided by this Law then are applied regulations of international treaties.
