About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About bodies of judicial self-government"

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About bodies of judicial self-government" (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 2008, No. 3, the Art. 260) the following changes:

Part 6 of Article 8 to state 1) in the following edition:

"6. The Judicial council cannot include chairmen and deputy chairmen of the Supreme Court, Constitutional chamber of the Supreme Court and local courts, and also the judges who are part of Council for selection of judges.";

Part 2 of Article 9 to add 2) with paragraphs the twenty fourth - the twenty seventh the following content:

"-elects members of the Disciplinary commission under Judicial council and approves regulations on its activities;

- establishes the list of the circumstances aggravating or mitigating disciplinary responsibility of judges;

- determines procedure for carrying out draw by election of members of the Disciplinary commission under Judicial council from civil society;

- determines the basis and procedure for decision making about consent or about refusal in consent on involvement of the judge to the criminal or administrative responsibility imposed judicially.";

Part 3 of Article 10-1 to add 3) with the paragraph the seventh the following content:

"-proposes candidacies of the judge of the relevant court and the judge in resignation for election in structure of the Disciplinary commission under Judicial council.".

Article 2. This Law becomes effective after ten days from the date of official publication.
