About introduction of amendments to the Migratory code of the Azerbaijan Republic

Being guided by Item 21 of part I of article 94 of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, Millie decides Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic:

Article 1

In the Migratory code of the Azerbaijan Republic (Collection of the legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic, 2013, No. 7, Article 797; 2014, No. 11, Article 1351; 1357, No. 12, Article 1539; 2015, No. 3, Article 259, No. 6, Article 689, No. 12, Article 1436; 2016, No. 2, book II, Article 214; The Law of the Azerbaijan Republic of May 6, 2016 No. 223-VQD) to make the following changes:

1.1. Exclude Article 33.4.

1.2. Add with Article 37.12 of the following content:

"37.12. The procedure for issue of electronic visas to the foreigners and stateless persons arriving to the Azerbaijan Republic is established by article 38 of this Code.".

1.3. State Article 38 in the following edition:

"Article 38. Electronic visas

38.1. The foreigners and stateless persons arriving to the Azerbaijan Republic can receive the electronic visa by means of the ASAN Visa system. In the single visa issued in electronic procedure, the term of stay in the country is established up to 30 days.

38.2. The organization of activities of the ASAN Visa system, data which shall be brought in form of the electronic address for receipt of the electronic visa the description and sample of the form of the electronic visa are established by the provision approved by relevant organ of the executive authority.

38.3. The electronic visa is issued to citizens of the countries which list is approved by relevant organ of the executive authority, and to the persons without citizenship who are constantly living in these countries.
