About measures for realization of the provisions of the Customs code of the Republic of Uzbekistan connected with conversion of goods

According to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About foreign economic activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and for the purpose of ensuring realization of provisions of the Customs code of the Republic of Uzbekistan concerning conversion of goods the Cabinet of Ministers decides:

1. Authorize the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trades to perform according to provisions of Chapter 8 of the Customs code of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

approval of feasibility statements on process of conversion of the goods performed by the companies with the state share in authorized fund (authorized capital), and placed under customs regimes of conversion;

issue to the companies with the state share in authorized fund (authorized capital) of the conclusions about compliance of conversion of goods out of customs area to economic interests of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

in coordination with the interested ministries and departments entering into the Cabinet of Ministers of offers on restrictions for use of customs regime of conversion on separate goods.

2. Determine that approval of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trades of the Republic of Uzbekistan of feasibility statements on process of conversion is not required if goods and products of their conversion are shown to the same customs authority in the following cases:

conversion of goods has no commercial character;

the purpose of conversion is repair of goods;

customs value of the processed goods under one contract does not exceed the 500-fold size of minimum wage.
