About modification and amendments in some legal acts

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. – In the Law on regulation of business activity by licensing No. 451-XV of July 30, 2001 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2005, Art. No. 26-28, 95), with subsequent changes to make the following changes and additions:

1. In part (1) Article 8:

add part with Item 39-1) of the following content:

"39-1) production of renewable fuel;";

40) and 41) to state Items in the following edition:

"40) production of electricity; management of electricity market; transmission of electricity; centralized management of electric utility system; electricity distribution; electrical supply;

41) production of natural gas; transfer of natural gas; distribution of natural gas; storage of natural gas; supply of natural gas; supply of the compressed natural gas for vehicles at gas stations;";

2. Add Article 20 with part (2-1) following of content:

"(2-1) licenses are suspended also in other cases which are directly provided by the laws regulating the licensed type of activity.".

3. Add Article 23 with part (8) the following content:

"(8) Licenses for transmission of electricity, for electrical supply on regulated rates, on electrical supply on non-regulated rates, on supply of natural gas on regulated rates, on supply of natural gas on non-regulated rates, issued before entry into force of the Law on the electric power No. 107 of May 27, 2016 and the Natural Gas Act No. 108 of May 27, 2016, are recognized valid before the expiration of their action.".

Art. II. – In appendix to the Law on regulation of business activity by permission No. 160 of July 22, 2011 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2011, Art. No. 170-175, 494), with subsequent changes, to make the following change and addition:
