About approval of the Concept of national policy of the Republic of Moldova
In view of need of determination of the principles and tasks of national policy, for the purpose of ensuring sovereignty and independence of the country and creating favorable conditions for free development of all ethnic and language communities of the Republic of Moldova
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. 1. - Approve the Concept of national policy of the Republic of Moldova which is component of this law.
Art. 2. - To the government till January 1, 2004 to develop and submit to Parliament for approval the program of measures for implementation of the specified Concept.

The concept of national policy of the Republic of Moldova (daleekontseption) represents set of the principles, the priority purposes and tasks on integration and consolidation of the single polycultural and multilingual people of the Republic of Moldova by reduction of national interests in compliance with interests of all ethnic and language communities of the country.
The concept is based on provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, regulations of the national legal system and international law, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, European convention on protection of the rights and fundamental freedoms of the person, one of the parties of which is the Republic of Moldova, and also Conventions on races and racial prejudices, other international acts concerning human rights and the rights of persons belonging to ethnic and language communities.
