About entering of amendments into the Law on veterans No. 190-XV of May 8, 2003
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. – In the Law on veterans No. 190-XV of May 8, 2003 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2003, Art. No. 84-86, 392), with subsequent changes, to make the following additions:
1. Add Article 21 with part (3) the following content:
"(3) the spouse/spouse or the mother/father of persons who are posthumously awarded with the awards "Ordinul Republicii" and "Stefan cel Mare" have the Right to personal benefit.".
2. Part (Article 22 to add 1) with Item e) the following content:
"e) to the spouse/spouse or the mother/father of persons who are posthumously awarded with the awards "Ordinul Republicii" and "Stefan cel Mare" – 500 lei. The personal benefit is paid, on circumstances, the spouse or the spouse, and in case of their absence – mothers of posthumously awarded person. In case of absence of the spouse/spouse and mother the personal benefit is paid to the father.".
Art. II. – (1) This law becomes effective since September 1, 2016.
(2) to the Government in three-months time to bring the regulations into accord with this law.
